This DVD is edited from video footage shot in 1992, 1994 and 1996. Editing was
hard work with picture and sound drop outs to remove, images to stabilize and
the need to make some order out of a mass of old footage converted from video
8 to digital. I’m just finishing off and it should be ready in the next
few days. It’s a long DVD running for 105 minutes and it should be the
first of 3 DVDs with the title ‘Classic Chinese Steam Locations’.
In this first DVD we visit Anshan, Shenyang and Changchun with Tonghua, Harbin,
Nancha and Mudanjiang planned for the second and Zhongwei, Yebaishou and Chengde
(and possibly Beian and Suihua) planned for the third.
